SWF Grayling: Michigan Employer of the Year

SWF Grayling was named Michigan's “Employer of the Year” for 2018. The announcement was made by representatives of Michigan Works at their annual conference, held at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids

Several associates were invited to the award ceremony as a gesture of thanks for their commitment to make Grayling “The Great Place to Work in Northern Michigan.” Upon receiving the award, SWF Grayling representative John Metts recognized associates in a speech, asking “What makes a company Employer of the Year?”​ He then answered his own question: “It is having employees of the year!”

John also recognized associates Jim Pickell and Dave Warner for their unsurpassed dedication and commitment to SWF Grayling.​
