Springs Bakes Cookies for Agrace

Posted April 12, 2019

Donning white aprons, Springs associates were baking up goodness for Agrace on April 12 as part of the United Way’s “Spring Into Action” initiative. Our team was rolling out cookie dough, cutting out shapes, baking and decorating fresh, warm cookies for Agrace guests. Staff members explained that fresh-baked cookies bring back a lot of memories for their guests and families, and that cookies sold in their cafeteria support families that use their services. Steve Wittman, Springs employee and volunteer, noted, “Definitely a win-win experience that was fun and very appreciated.”

Founded in 1978, Agrace is a nonprofit organization providing hospice and palliative care services in private homes and in nursing, assisted living, and other community residential facilities in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
